USA star Landon Donovan has spoken of his plan to beat England on Saturday and then have Johnny Depp play him in the resulting movie.
The LA Galaxy man is hoping the Americans of 2010 can turn back the clock and re-enact that famous victory in 1950 when the English were beaten at their own game by the USA.
Donovan said if the USA win this time, there would be every right to make a movie and he was stern in who he wanted to star as him.
"Who'd play me in the movie....I like Jonny Depp! It is hard for me as a competitor to let my mind go there and think about beating England. I understand what this game means," he said.
"I know the qualities I have as an athlete but I was not prepared in Germany in 2006. When you are this prepared, as prepared as we are now for this tournament, you don't worry about how it will go on Saturday. I know I will play well.
"We know what this game means back home. It has been all about USA v England for six months. If you were a casual fan you might think this is the World Cup final."
