Los Angeles Galaxy forward Landon Donovan has praised the fans in Seattle.

"That was a fun game to be a part of," Donovan said.

"That's the game should be played. It was hard and it was fun and it was mostly fair. It was just an intense game.

"I think we got tired. It was a little unfortunate. I think we worked hard for 70 minutes and played pretty well," he said.

"Then, I think we got tired and we got lazy. We stopped wanting the ball. We stopped moving. All things considered, it was still pretty good.

"I've heard from almost every team that plays here and they've had awesome things to say about this place," he added.

"It was awesome. It was great. I've played here with the [U.S.] national team a couple times, and it's been great both times. Today didn't disappoint."
