Donnelly hits hat-trick as Swansea score 10 in preseason

Swansea City have demolished Dutch side Haaglandia 10-0 in a preseason friendly.

Rory Donnelly netted a hat-trick in nine minutes whilst Michu scored a brace along with goals from new signing Jonjo Shelvey, Angel Rangel, Nathan Dyer, Pablo Hernandez and Kenji Gorre.

Midfielder Leon Britton, who was part of the win in Holland, told the club's official website: "Scoring ten goals is a good thing. The majority of us got 45 minutes under our belts, so it was a good exercise in terms of fitness.

"It's nice for the lads at the top end of the pitch to get on the scoresheet. We are all really pleased to see Rory come on and get a hat-trick.

"The tour has been good for us. It's good to come away on tour - it allows the new players to bed in. It's a lot of training and games, so it's ensuring we are ready for the start of the season."
