West Brom boss Tony Mowbray hailed his Dutch defenders Ryan Donk and Gianni Zuiverloon after their victory over Fulham.
"Ryan is big, strong and fast," Mowbray said. "He's got great belief and confidence in himself and is very close friends with Gianni.
"I think the communication between those two down that side of the pitch helps the team. Ryan is still acclimatising to the English game.
"But he has done well in the last couple of matches. If he can find consistency, that will make it hard for Leon Barnett and Abdoulaye Meite to get back into the side.
"Ryan's had two clean sheets and done exceptionally well.
"Gianni is a fantastic athlete, a wonderful character and has a desire to learn and improve.
"He's got great attributes.
"It's still very early in his Premier League career but I'm delighted he's here."
