Cristiano Doni has declared he wants to close his career with Atalanta.
"It's true that I'm playing really well at the moment," Doni told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I certainly had my best game of the season against my former side Sampdoria last weekend.
"We are doing great things, but Atalanta isn't a one-man team and I think Sergio Floccari deserves recognition and should get an Italy call-up."
Doni concluded by admitting that he had been approached by some big clubs but wasn't willing to consider a transfer.
"I had the chance to join a very important club two seasons ago, but I won't mention the name now," he said. "I refused and that's because I want to play for Atalanta until I hang my boots up."
