DONE DEAL: West Ham confirm Beijing Renhe move for Jelavic

Nikica Jelavic has officially signed with Chinese club Beijing Renhe.

West Ham United have confirmed that the Croatian striker has left Upton Park to join the China League One outfit for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £4million.

Jelavic, 30, joined West Ham from Hull City in the summer and departs East London having scored two goals in 14 appearances.

The move to the Far East ends a five-and-a-half-year stint in the UK which also saw him turn out for Rangers, Everton and Hull.

A statement on West Ham's official website read: "West Ham United can confirm that Nikica Jelavic has joined China League One club Beijing Renhe on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.

"West Ham United would like to thank Nikica for his hard work during his time at the Boleyn Ground and wish him all the best for his future career."
