Tottenham midfielder Filip Lesniak has signed for Aalborg BK.

Leniak was allowed to come off contract at Spurs last week.

The 21-year old midfielder made one substitute appearance in the Premier League and the Europa League last season, but did not do enough to convince manager Mauricio Pochettino of his worth to the squad.

Aalborg BK came 10th in the Danish top-flight last season and have recently appointed former Celtic midfielder and Swansea City assistant manager Morten Wieghorst as Head Coach.

Lesniak will likely be looking at this move as a means to kick-start his career, and it would be no surprise to see him back in the Premier League soon.
