Italian sources today are reporting Tottenham chief Franco Baldini has clinched an agreement with PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Il Tempo says Rabiot's mother and agent, Veronique, has agreed personal terms with Baldini in the past 24 hours in London.
The midfielder has been on the agenda of Tottenham and Arsenal for much of the year, but penned new terms with PSG earlier this season to 2019.
However, with playing guarantees offered by Spurs, Rabiot is happy to move to London as he continues to struggle to find room in PSG coach Laurent Blanc's first team.
AS Roma were also keen, but Il Tempo reports they pulled back after Rabiot penned his new PSG deal - this despite Veronique encouraging coach Rudi Garcia and sports director Walter Sabatini to stay in touch.
Instead, it appears Baldini, formerly in charge at Roma, has managed to clinch the deal in Tottenham's favour.
PSG, for their part, are also happy about the arrangement with a hefty fee due for a player who only months ago could've been committing to Spurs about a Bosman move next June.
