Lee Tomlin has signed a permanent deal with Bristol City.
The 27-year-old forward has departed Bournemouth to pen a three-year contract with the Championship club.
Tomlin only arrived at Bournemouth from Middlesbrough last summer but was sent out on loan to Ashton Gate in January last year, starring for the Robins with six goals in 18 appearances as they avoided relegation.
Bristol boss Lee Johnson was thrilled to land the services of Tomlin on a less temporary basis and is looking forward to again working alongside the talented former Peterborough United star.
"We're delighted to welcome Lee back to Ashton Gate. Credit has to go to the board for their efforts in getting this deal done," Johnson told his club's official website.
"I believe we've signed the most talented player at Championship level in terms of ability. He was fantastic for us last season and I believe his best football is ahead of him.
"He does things every day in training that make you smile - you think 'how on earth has he done that?'
"Hopefully it's a statement of intent. It shows the kind of football we want to play."
Tomlin himself took to Twitter to thank the Cherries, as well as Bristol chief Mark Ashton, for their assistance in getting the deal done.
