DONE DEAL: Sunderland secure services of Trabzonspor striker N’Doye

Sunderland have confirmed the signing of Dame N'Doye from Trabzonspor.

The Senegalese striker has joined the Black Cats on loan from the Turkish club for the remainder of the season.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce says he expects N'Doye, who spent the second half of last season at Hull City, to make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

"Dame will bring something different to our forward options," he told the club's official website.

“Having already played in the Premier League, he should have no problems in hitting the ground running too, which is very important at this stage of the season."

30-year-old N'Doye will not be available for the weekend's Premier League clash with Tottenham as he has not yet been granted his UK visa.
