Stuttgart have clinched the signing of Manchester City defender Pablo Maffeo.

Maffeo is currently on-loan in Spain with Girona, but it was announced today he was being sold to Stuttgart for €10m. The youngster will sign a deal to 2023 with VfB.

Maffeo is due in Germany this week for a medical and to sign his contract.

"I am very proud to reach one of the best clubs in the country and the Bundesliga, with a spectacular stadium and a very ambitious project," said Maffeo.

Maffeo has been on the books at City since 2013, joining as a 16 year-old from Espanyol.
