Stoke City have snapped up Blackburn Rovers winger Tre Pemberton.

The 18-year-old, who impressed when in action against the Potters last season, has been added to Glyn Hodges' U23 squad, says The Sentinel.

Pemberton, who possesses a turn of pace and looks to be an outstanding prospect, could make his first appearance for the U23s in their friendly at Leek Town on Saturday.

The winger only signed for Rovers a year ago.
