DONE DEAL: Stoke land West Brom striker Saido Berahino

Stoke City have struck a deal for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

The Sun says he has completed his £15m move to Stoke from West Brom.

The 23-year-old signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at the Britannia Stadium as the club confirmed the move on Friday.

He has only made five appearances this season with four coming in the league but has failed to score and there has been continuous questions over his future for a long while.

“I'm so overwhelmed, I'm just so happy," Berahino said after completing his move.

“I just can't wait to get started now, meet the lads and get cracking on."

Potters chief executive Tony Scholes added: “It's no secret that we have been looking to bring Saido to the club for a long time and to suggest that we are pleased to have finally concluded the deal is an understatement.

“We've signed a young English striker who has already proven his ability in the Premier League.

“After a frustrating period he's now desperately keen to reignite his career and we look forward to seeing him do that with us."
