Former Yeovil Town goalkeeper Kingsley Latham has signed with Southampton.

Latham, originally from Braunton in North Devon, teamed up with Southampton last month, training with their under-23 team before playing in the 3-1 defeat to their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts on Monday, January 30.

The Glovers' under-18s keeper became the second green and white starlet to be picked up a Premier League club in as many months today (February 3) when he penned a deal with Southampton's academy.

The teenager first caught the eye of Southampton some years ago. He was a member of the top flight club's Chivenor academy development squad in Devon before signing for Torquay.
