Santi Cazorla is staying with Arsenal next season.

The Mirror says Arsenal have taken up the year's option in Cazorla's contract at the Emirates.

The Spanish midfielder, 32, had been due to see his deal expire at the end of the current season.

But an FA document has revealed that the player - who hasn't featured since October due to injury - had the option taken up last month, on December 20.

Cazorla's deal will now expire in 2018.
