Real Madrid have completed the signing of Olympique Lyon striker Mariano Diaz.

Real chose to exercise the right of first refusal on the player when they were informed of the agreement between Lyon and Sevilla at 30 million euros plus 5m in bonuses.

However, it's official, he's back as a Madrid player, signing for five seasons, and he will be presented in the next few hours.

The transfer will therefore cost Madrid 22 million euros plus bonuses, and the club already asked the player last May about his availability in case Real went for him.
