Real Madrid have an agreement with Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.Sport says Cavani has agreed to join Real at the end of the season after a series of meetings in Madrid between agent Pierpaolo Triulzi and club president Florentino Perez.

Napoli are insisting on any interested club meeting Cavani's buyout clause of €63 million, but Perez is hoping to find a compromise.

With Cavani's backing, he has tabled a cash bid of €50 million for the Uruguayan and is willing to make up the shortfall by including a player in the offer.

PSG, Manchester City and Arsenal are also chasing Cavani and are banking on Napoli's insistence on a straight cash deal to keep the transfer wide open leading up to the summer market.

But for the moment, it is Real where Cavani wants to play his football next season.
