Real Betis have announced the sale of Cristiano Piccini to Sporting CP.

Sporting have paid €3 million for Piccini, with a percentage of the fee also going to Fiorentina.

The Italian wing-back joined Betis in 2014 on-loan before signing permanently from Fiorentina in the summer of 2015.

Piccini, 24, played 39 matches in Primera, 12 in Segunda and 7 in Copa del Rey, in which he has scored three goals and had four assists.
