Rayo Vallecano have snapped up Spartak Moscow attacker Patrick Ebert.

The German attacking midfielder is Rayo's sixth signing of the summer, following Ousseynou Cissé (Dijon), José Antonio Dorado (Villarreal), Bebé (Benfica), Chengdong Zhang (Beijing Guoan) and Diego Llorente (Real Madrid).

After a year and a half in Russia, Ebert now returns to Spanish top flight football having previously played for two seasons with Valladolid.

He played 38 times for them, scoring nine goals and setting up 12.
