Napoli have signed Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marko Rog.

The Azzurri have swooped for the Croatian after a summer long pursuit.

“SSC Napoli formalises the signing of the player Marko Rog," a statement on the club's website announced, before a quote from President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“After passing the medicals, we can officially confirm the signing of another great player for Napoli.

“A signing which further enhances a midfield which is now among the most complete it's possible to be, which will give [Coach Maurizio] Sarri the ability to use multiple formations, from a midfield two to a midfield three depending on the opposition in Italy and Europe.

“Welcome Rog to our Napoli."
