Johan Venegas, the Costa Rican international, has signed for Montreal Impact.
Venegas joins from his native Costa Rica, where he played for Alajuelense.
The 26-year-old is a clever winger with an eye for goal, having netted 15 times in 58 league appearances for Alajuelense.
"We are very happy to have completed the transfer and signing of Johan Venegas," said Impact technical director Adam Braz in a release.
"He is a quality player with international experience who can play in multiple positions. He will be a very good addition to the team."
Venegas has made 15 appearances for his country, having most recently appeared in the CONCACAF Gold Cup last month.
