Luiz Adriano has left AC Milan for Spartak Moscow.

Milan have released a statement confirming Luiz Adriano had been sold on a permanent basis, but did not specify the financial details.

The Brazilian striker arrived in Moscow this evening and was pictured signing the contract on the official Spartak Moscow website.

“I am happy to join Spartak," said the 29-year-old. “I will try to honour the red and white shirt. I hope to score many goals and win the title."
