Liverpool have agreed terms on a new contract with youngster Rhian Brewster, per the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds were worried about the possibility of losing Brewster as his current deal ran down. He was linked with the likes of Borussia Monchengladbach and RB Leipzig.
But the club have come to a total agreement with the players. Now it will be up to Brewster to prove he can make the step up to the first team.
He will be handed a chance to participate with the first team at the start of the season.
His manager Jurgen Klopp rates him very highly, which is why Liverpool are not in the market for a backup center forward to Roberto Firmino. They believe Brewster can help alleviate the goal scoring load next season.
