Brooks Lennon's departure from Liverpool has been confirmed.

The FA website have Lennon listed under the “List of Players under Written Contract Whose Registrations have been Cancelled by Mutual Consent" for February.

The same month it was announced the American had joined Real Salt Lake on loan until the end of the season.

He joined the Reds from Real Salt Lake in 2015 but lasted less than two years at the club.

The USA under-20 international has made two appearances in the MLS so far this season.
