Leicester City have snapped up Chester City defender Sam Hughes.
The Sun says Craig Shakespeare wasted no time in completing the £125,000 deal for the promising youngster on his first full day as Foxes boss.
Hughes became Chester's youngest ever captain in March, aged 19, after switching from midfield to defence and was voted the National League club's Player of the Season.
Chester turned down offers from Championship clubs for Hughes in January and Leicester managed to beat competition from Swansea, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Barnsley and Sheffield United for the highly-rated youngster.
