Leicester City have announced the signing of Hannover goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler.
The Foxes met the £3million release clause in Zieler's contract at Hannover 96 at the weekend, before the 27-year-old travelled to the East Midlands for talks.
Claudio Ranieri is keen to beef up his squad this summer, with Leicester set for the Champions League, and sees Zieler as a viable alternative to Kasper Schmeichel.
“It feels great coming to Leicester and joining the club after they've had such a great season – it's really nice to be part of the club now.
“I've been shown around the training ground and it looks very good and I've been to the stadium – I heard about the great atmosphere and the great fans, so my first impression is very good."
