DONE DEAL: Huddersfield loanee Ward commits to Liverpool

Danny Ward has signed a new contract with Liverpool.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has penned a long-term deal with the Reds while being loaned out to Huddersfield Town for the 2016/17 season.

Ward impressed during his loan spell in Scotland with Aberdeen last term before returning to Anfield and subsequently making his Reds debut in April.

The former Wrexham gloveman was a part of the Wales squad that performed so well at Euro2016, stepping in for the injured Wayne Hennessey for the opening group stage game against Slovakia.

After committing himself to Liverpool, Ward will soon link up with Championship side Huddersfield who are managed by Jurgen Klopp's former Borussia Dortmund assistant David Wagner.
