DONE DEAL: Huddersfield complete switch for Reading midfielder Williams

Huddersfield Town have signed Danny Williams on a two-year contract.
The former Reading midfielder became a free-agent after his contract expired at the end of last season.

The 28-year old, who played in the Championship playoff final against the Terriers, made 135 appearances for the Royals after moving to England from Hoffenheim in 2013.

Huddersfield head coach David Wagner told the club's website: "As our fans will have seen during the Play-Off Final, Danny brings a lot of quality to any team he plays for.

“His way of playing - his aggressiveness, tenacity and athleticism - fits our 'Terriers Identity' perfectly.

"It is not usual that a player of Danny's ability is available on a free transfer, so there was understandably a lot of interest from clubs.
