Girona have signed AS Roma striker Seydou Doumbia.

Doumbia played on-loan at Sporting CP last season and has managed to negotiate a release from his contract.

The striker joins Girona on a free transfer.

Girona were able to handle Doumbia big contract demands courtesy of his free status.

The centre-forward will make his debut on Friday night against Villarreal.
