DONE DEAL? Fulham reach agreement for Nice pair Seri, Merchand

Fulham are wrapping up deals for Nice pair Jean Michael Seri and Maxime Le Merchand.

The Sun says the Cottagers have beaten a host of rivals to the signature of Nice's Ivory Coast midfielder Seri.

And the Craven Cottage outfit are also signing his team-mate Maxime Le Marchand in a double deal.

Seri is valued at around £25million in the swoop and was also chased by Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund before taking the chance to play regularly in the Premier League.

Fulham have been looking for extra grit in the middle of their talented team and it is a major coup to land the player who helped Nice to an eighth-placed finish in France.

Le Marchand is a surprise extra. He can play left back and centre half and will become part of Slavisa Jokanovic's squad.

The 28-year-old was a key member of the Ligue 1 side last season having started 29 league matches and five in the Europa League.
