Leeds United have signed Pablo Hernandez from Qatari club Al-Arabi.
The 31-year-old Spanish winger has signed a six-month loan deal with the view to a permanent transfer.
Hernandez returns to the UK having spent to seasons with Swansea City between 2012 and 2014 where he played alongside Whites manager Grry Monk.
The former Spain international also counts Valencia, Getafe, Al-Nasr and Rayo Vallecano among his former clubs, spending the 2015/16 season on loan with the latter.
A statement on Leeds' official website read: “We are delighted to confirm that a deal has been agreed to bring Spanish international winger Pablo Hernandez to the club on a six-month loan with a view to a permanent switch from Qatari side Al-Arabi.
“The 31-year-old will officially be announced as a Leeds United player on Tuesday morning when he links up with his new team-mates at Thorp Arch.
“Intense media speculation put Pablo's move in jeopardy but the Club is pleased to have reached an agreement and Pablo would like to thank the fans for their support."
