Stoke City have confirmed the signing of defender Glen Johnson.
The 30-year-old has made the move to the Britannia Stadium, subject to finalising the formalities, after his contract with Liverpool expired.
England international Johnson has signed an initial two-year contract, with the option of a third season, having spent the past six years at Anfield.
Of the capture, chief executive Tony Scholes told the club's official website: “Glen's record speaks for itself. He has a wealth of experience having a regular at international level for more than a decade and played the finals of the World Cup and European Championships.
“There was no shortage of clubs interested in him after he left Liverpool but he very much sees his future as a Stoke City player and we are delighted he has chosen to join us."
Johnson becomes Mark Hughes' sixth signing of the summer, following Joselu, Shay Given, Jakob Haugaard, Marco van Ginkel and Philipp Wollscheid, who have all become Potters in recent weeks.
