Michael Essien has completed his transfer to Greek club Panathinaikos.
The 32-year old Ghanaian midfielder has departed Italian giants AC Milan to sign a two-year deal with the Athens outfit as a free agent.
The former Chelsea star was unveiled to a crowd of around 800 fans on Tuesday and is now looking to repay the early faith by bringing the proud club some silverware.
"I am very happy to be here and I'm very much looking forward to starting my new career with Panathinaikos," Essien told reporters.
"I am a winner and I have come to Greece to win more trophies and to do whatever I can for my new team."
