Fiorentina have signed permanently Real Betis defender German Pezzella.

The Viola will pay Betis €10m on top of their €500,000 loan fee for the Argentine, who scored once in 35 appearances over the past season.

Fiorentina confirmed they have exercised their option to buy Pezzella, who has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

Pezzella, who boasts an Argentina cap, did have a deal with Betis to 2020.
