Federico Fazio has joined AS Roma on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentine defender will spend the 2016/17 season with the Italian club, who have spent £1million on the temporary move, with the view to a permanent deal, which will be worth £2.67m.
Fazio, 29, joined Spurs from Sevilla in 2014 but failed to make an impression in North London and was subsequently loaned back to the Andalusian club for the second half of last season.
He is now looking forward to linking up with Luciano Spalletti's Giallorossi ahead of the new Serie A campaign.
"I am very happy to join a great team like Roma," Fazio said.
"I really want to start training and get to know my new team-mates and coach."
