Former Manchester City, Everton and Sunderland midfielder Jack Rodwell has joined Blackburn Rovers.

Rodwell has endured a difficult few years, barely playing for Sunderland and seeing his stock fall dramatically.

Now he is hoping that he can resurrect his career thanks to a deal with Blackburn that will last until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old knows it may be his last chance at playing for a decent team.

He had a trial at Watford earlier this summer that did not pan out.
