Former Liverpool and Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant has signed for non-league powerhouse Billericay Town.

Pennant has been without a club since leaving League OneBury at the end of last season.

After weighing up his options Pennant has joined the Isthmian Premier Division side, along with former Wolves defender Kevin Foley and West Ham youth product Leo Chambers.

Last night, Billericay owner Glenn Tamplin stated on Twitter: "BTFC big guns signed tonight Jermaine Pennant Kevin Foley Leo Chambers 3 premiership players now BTFC Players What a season this will be."
