Everton will complete the signing of Ishak Belfodil this week according to France Football.
It is understood that the Toffees will land the striker from Belgian club Standard Liege for a fee of £10.4million (€12m).
The French-raised Algeria international Belfodil left UAE outfit Baniyas last summer and while a free agent, attracted interest from French trio AS Nancy, Caen and OGC Nice.
However, he was snapped up by Standard and is now expected to leave the Stade Maurice Dufrasne to join Everton, who dealt most notably with the Liege outfit in the past when Marouane Fellaini made his way to Goodison Park back in 2008.
Belfodil has scored nine goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
