Everton boss Sam Allardyce is close to overseeing his first signing since taking charge.
Several Turkish media sources are reporting this morning of a €25m fee being struck with Besiktas for Cenk Tosun.
The Turkey international striker has been confirmed as a transfer target by Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson in recent days and is also on Newcastle United's radar.
However, it's now breaking in Turkey that Everton have struck terms with Besiktas for Tosun.
He has agreed terms over a five-year contract at Goodison Park and his move will make Tosun the richest transfer in Turkish football. Everton and Besiktas are expected to announce the deal on January 1 or 2.
