Empoli midfielder Riccardo Saponara has joined Fiorentina.

Saponara joins on loan with obligation to buy.

It's reported to be a deal worth €10m at the end of the 18-month loan spell.

Fiorentina confirmed the deal on Saturday morning.

As part of a previous sale, Milan will be due €1.3m – 30 per cent of what's left after the €4.5m sale – of the fee.
