Crawley Town have snapped up Chelsea defender Alex Davey on loan until 3 January.

The 21-year-old, a centre-back, will continue his development with the League Two club under the guidance of former Chelsea Academy coach Dermot Drummy.

Davey was part of our youth team which lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2012.

The stopper spent part of last season in Norway with Stabaek.
