Chelsea have confirmed that Brazilian youngster Nathan will return to Vitesse Arnhem for another loan spell.

The 20-year-old midfielder spent the 2015/16 season with the Dutch club and the Blues have now opted to send him back to the GelreDome for a further 12 months.

A club statement read: "Nathan will return to Vitesse Arnhem and spend the 2016/17 season on loan at the Dutch club.

"The Brazilian midfielder joined us from Atletico Paranaense last July and was loaned to Vitesse for the 2015/16 campaign. He made 19 appearances, scoring twice."

The Brazil U20 international made the move to Holland alongside Blues teammates Lewis Baker, Dom Solanke, Izzy Brown and Danilo Pantic last summer and the Chelsea quintet helping Vitesse into a ninth-placed finish in the Eredivisie.
