Borussia Dortmund have announced the loan signing of Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi until the end of the season.

Chelsea allowed Batshuayi to travel to Germany after agreeing terms, which could include an option for Dortmund to buy the striker after an initial six-month loan.

It is also understood Chelsea insisted on a buy-back option if the deal was made permanent.

The Germans confirmed the news of Batshuayi's arrival just over 10 minutes before the 5pm German transfer deadline.
