Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas has joined Bristol City on a season long-loan.

The Czech international defender joined Chelsea in 2011, and famously helped the Blues keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory against Liverpool at Anfield towards the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

Last season Kalas was at Fulham as they gained promotion from the Championship, and he returns to England's second tier for 2018/19 to the side who currently sit in 13th position in the table after four games.

The 25-year-old joins fellow Chelsea loanee Jay Dasilva at Ashton Gate.
