Chelsea defender Dion Conroy has signed for League One side Swindon Town in a permanent deal.

Conroy joined Chelsea as an Under-13 and developed through their Academy, featuring in the FA Youth Cup and Under-21 Premier League successes in 2014.

The 21-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Aldershot Town where he made 17 appearances in all competitions.

Swindon are in League One and Conroy will be reunited with Chelsea loanees Charlie Colkett, Fankaty Dabo and Islam Feruz at the County Ground.
