Chelsea have announced the sale of Mohamed Salah to Roma.
The Egypt international first arrived at Stamford Bridge from Basel in an £11million deal in January 2014, but was sent on loan to Fiorentina a year later to gain regular first-team football.
Salah then returned to Chelsea in the summer of 2015 but was sent out once again on loan, this time to Roma for the 2015/16 campaign.
After impressing for the Serie A side - who finished last season in third place - Roma have now decided to sign Salah permanently.
Mohamed Salah has completed a permanent transfer to Italian club Roma," a Chelsea statement on Wednesday read.
"Chelsea Football Club thanks Mohamed for his service and wishes him well for the future."
