Cambridge United have welcomed back Max Clark on a six-month loan deal from Hull City.

The 20-year-old, a product of the Tigers' youth system, played nine times for Shaun Derry's side during a loan spell last term.

Derry told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to once again work with Max and welcome him back to Cambridge United for a second loan.

"Max made a huge impression on us all last season, with not only his performances but his appreciation and appetite for our football club."
