Bournemouth have signed Romanian youth international Mihai Dobre.

Winger Dobre, who turned 18 on Tuesday, will initially form part of the club's under-21s squad. He joins Cherries from top-flight Romanian side Viitorul Constanta.

Speaking to the club website, under-21s boss Stephen Purches said: "Mihai is a player our recruitment department have known about for some time.

"He'll add further competition for places within the under-21s and we're looking forward to working with him. We are excited about his potential and future at AFC Bournemouth."
