Besiktas have clinched the signing of Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo.

The Nigeria international has been training with Chelsea in preseason, after spending last term in Turkey on-loan with Kasimpasa.

The 22 year-old will now spend another 12 months in the country with Besiktas.

Since joining Chelsea, Omeruo has spent time away with ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasimpasa. The defender is tied to the Blues until 2018.

The two clubs are expected to announcement the deal imminently.
