Liverpool have announced the signing of Barcelona youngster Bobby Adekanye.
The 16-year-old was one of five players whose signing led to the Catalan giants being handed an 18-month transfer ban and he has now left his parent club without playing a game for them.
Adekanye posted an image on his Instagram page in which he said: “I am very happy to sign for Liverpool". The Anfield side are understood to have secured the player as a free agent.
The Nigerian-born winger is Liverpool's seventh signing of the summer, joining more high-profile names including James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne.
